The only help with marriage proposal ideas I got from my friends was them telling me not to do it. They all begged me not to get married. They figured they were losing a friend and considering that we were all just out of college - they were also losing a drinking buddy.

But I had met the right woman and I definitely wanted to marry her. I was almost desperate as she was the most beautiful and intelligent woman I had ever met. I couldn't wait to marry her.
