Home Remedy for Pimples

I love surfing through the net looking for home remedies for different everyday medical conditions we people suffer from. One of my favorites is a home remedy for pimples. Here are some of the home remedies and cures I have found:

Toothpaste - dab a bit of toothpaste on the pimple and wash it off with Listerine

Garlic - rub fresh garlic on and around the pimple daily until the pimple goes away

Papaya - apply the juice of a raw papaya over the pimple

Lemon - rub a slice of lemon over the pimple

Orange - take an orange peel and mash it with water and apply the solution to the pimple

I don't know if these remedies work as I have not tried them. I do know that gently washing your face 2 or three times a day with a mild soap and warm water helps to prevent pimples. And, for some people, if the above home remedies don't work, there are hundreds of over the counter anti-pimple products out there that may work for them.

Sometimes the best method for combating pimples is to test different remedies and products out. If a product or remedy doesn't work for you try something different. Experimenting is sometimes the only way you will find the right method for you.

If you have a more serious case of acne you may want to consult your doctor or a dermatologist or find a stronger home remedy for pimples.

The most important thing to remember is that pimples can be combated. It's up to you to choose your remedy.
