Being interviewed for a job and coming up with the right job interview answer can be very stressful. It's important that you prepare yourself beforehand for the possible questions that you will be asked. Below are some of the more common job interview questions and ways you can answer these questions in a professional and positive way.

Q. Why should we hire you?

To answer this rely are your previous experience. Explain to the interviewer what skills you have and how they would benefit the company. Also, this is a good time to bring up your work ethic and your dependability.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

The question is used to see what kind of ambition you have. But there is a good and a bad side to it. If you seem overly ambitious the interviewer could conclude that you won't stay very long in the position and perhaps leave the company - so what would be the point in hiring you. If you answer the question in a way that shows you have very little ambition the opposite could be construed by the interviewer and they won't hire you for that reason.

A good way to answer this question is to say that you are looking to follow a direction that will enhance your present skills and give you the opportunity for career growth.

Q. Have you ever had a conflict with a co-worker? How did you resolve this conflict?" -

This is a standard question because employers are looking for people that can work together. And don't say that you have never had a conflict because it is only human nature to have disagreements.

The best way to answer this question is to say that you have had a minor issue with a co-worker and the way you resolved the issue was with a professional, calm and civil one-on-one conversation with the co-worker. (They may request an example so be prepared.)

These are just 3 of the most common job interview questions asked. Be prepared for more. Remember that getting that job you always wanted could very well depend on how you answer these questions.
