Job Interview Tip - Dress for Success:

Make sure your breath is fresh and your fingernails are clean.
-
And be on time.
Job Interview Tip - Research before Being Interviewed:
-
Research the company and the job you are applying for. This is easily done on the net.
-
Research your own skills and list them on a piece of paper.
-
Prepare yourself beforehand for different types of HR questions such as 'Where do you see yourself in 5 years?' and 'What are your weaknesses?' and 'What are your strength's?'
-
Prepare yourself beforehand for questions about your previous work experience such as "Why did you leave your previous job?' and 'In your previous position what value did you add to the company?'
Job Interview Tip - Being Interviewed:
-
Look the interviewer or interviewee's square in the eye as often as you can.
-
Don't ramble off topic about things that are not related to the company or the position you are applying for. When being interviewed rely are your previous research and make your answers pertinent to the company you are being interviewed by - such as what your skill sets are and how they will benefit the company.
-
During the interview you should also remember that you have to sell yourself to these people. Try and come across as a hard worker who can be both a team player and a person that can be trusted to work on their own.
Job Interview Tip - The People Interviewing You:
-
Remember that they are human and are probably just as nervous as you.
-
Remember that the choice they make to hire somebody will reflect upon them so they definitely want to make sure they make the right choice.
-
Remember that you will not be the only candidate for the position and that the interviewer may have already interviewed 10 people asking them the exact same questions as you.
And one last thing to remember - smile and show that you have a positive attitude. That's half the battle.
