If you are looking for used sales cars for sale there are a lot of places where you can get great deals that you may not be aware of. I know because I am looking for a good deal on a used car myself.

Two places that I have been looking at most recently are police auctions and government auctions. A good friend of mine Jerry recently told me about a great deal he got on a slightly used 2006 Honda Civic at a police auction.

The 2006 Honda Civic he purchased at the police auction had either been seized by the police or was unclaimed property. He also told me that the government does the same type of auctions.

Basically it works like this - every year thousands of vehicles become the property of the police and the government through the seizure and surplus laws. Because there are so many vehicles and the expense of storing them, the government and police must get rid of them fast. Which means it is very possible to get very good deals on these cars.

The only problem is finding out when and where these auctions take place. My friend Jerry was lucky. He has a friend on the police force. But he told me there are other methods to finding out when these auctions take place but you really have to look hard for them.

So if you are looking for a good deal on used sales cars for sale you may want to try a police or government auction. You may find something dirt cheap.
